Call for Board Members

If you are passionate about conservation and have an interest in contributing your expertise, the Hamilton Conservation Foundation is presently accepting expressions of interest to join the Board of Directors.

The Hamilton Conservation Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to the preservation and rehabilitation of the environment and heritage within the Hamilton Conservation Authority watershed. Its bylaws were established in January 1976 with the following objectives; to aid the Hamilton Conservation Authority by receiving gifts of property and money, to promote the practice of conservation, to assist in providing conservation education and to assist in the purchase of property.

Directors will serve a three year term of office and may be re-elected for a second term. The role of directors is to determine strategic priorities and evaluate the achievement of objectives. In addition to attending regular meetings and working with the Foundation staff, directors are expected to make commitments of financial contributions to the organization.
