Community Collaborations in Action

We’ve had many opportunities this spring to partner with local organizations and businesses! Here are just a few highlights:

McMaster Asian F.O.C.U.S. topped off their incredible volunteering efforts last year (three trail clean-ups, plus a tree planting) with a $2,010 gift this year toward our Planting and Restoration Fund. These students demonstrate an inspiring commitment to nature in Hamilton!

Copetown Lions Club supported our Land Securement Fund with a $5,000 gift, presented at their Easter “Ham Roll” fundraiser and silent auction.

Ore Movement Studio hosted a pay-what-you-can cardio mat class, donating $220 to our Area of Greatest Need Fund. Our Executive Director, Amanda, was even able to attend!

Steel City Cycle hosted a spin class ride in support of the Foundation, donating $206 to our Area of Greatest Need Fund. After the class, instructor Justine Kaesler shared, “Community is what drives everything we do at Steel City Cycle. Spaces where people can come together — whether indoors in our studio or outdoors in our shared natural spaces — are essential for connection, wellbeing, and a thriving city. Supporting the Hamilton Conservation Foundation felt like a natural extension of that, and we’re proud to contribute to initiatives that help protect and strengthen those spaces for everyone.”
