After two years of adapting and creating material to present virtually, we are excited that Hamilton Conservation Authority’s (HCA) Environmental Education program is returning to Dundas Valley Conservation Area for in-person learning.
An environmentally-significant natural area, Dundas Valley Conservation Area provides students with the ideal backdrop to experience diverse habitats that are home to a variety of native plants and animals. The hands-on approach that the program is known for provides the students with unique opportunities to apply what they learn in the classroom but, more importantly, the program aims to build knowledge and appreciation of the environment in students from all parts of the city of Hamilton and beyond.
We are very grateful to our wonderful donors who continued to support the Foundation’s Step Into Nature Fund, allowing the program to adapt to the challenges of the past two years. We now welcome returning and new donors that allow us to bring the students back to experience Dundas Valley and all it has to offer.
