Fall Colours in the EcoPark

Hamilton Conservation Foundation (HCF) is hosting its final event as the last in a series of four events to show its donors, volunteers and supporters what their support is helping to accomplish at the Hamilton Conservation Authority (HCA).

All events are free for HCF supporters who register in advance.

The last of these events for this year will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm and will begin right next to the Desjardin Canal Natural Landscape Restoration Site (former site of the Veldhuis Greenhouses in Dundas).  We will be meeting at the Beer Store Parking Lot in Dundas at 55 Cootes Drive.

The guided bus tour will feature notable speakers on Escarpment Waterfalls, Natural and Cultural History and Hamilton Settlements.  Participants will tour the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark and stop at various locations within the Park System.  Some walking may be required.  Please bring your own bagged lunch.  Seating is limited so please register early.

There will also be Trivia at the Thirsty Cactus Cantina & Grill after the guided bus tour for those that are interested.

Supporters can register by emailing
