Honour someone you care about by making a gift of nature. A contribution to our conservation lands is a lasting gift that helps to maintain and enhance our green spaces now while conserving them for the enjoyment of future generations. All gifts are eligible for a charitable receipt for income tax purposes, and we would be happy to send a card informing the honouree or their loved ones of your thoughtful tribute.
Trees are a wonderful gift to mark a milestone or honour a loved one. With a gift of $1000, you can adopt and designate a tree within The Thomas A. Beckett Forest in the Dundas Valley. Trees are identified with a plaque.
The sponsorship of tree plantings and mature trees within the Beckett Forest has contributed to important environmental work and the preservation of natural habitat in the Dundas Valley. The species in the Beckett Forest are native to Southwestern Ontario and the most northern range for Carolinian shrubs and trees. View our program fact sheet here.
Mark an important spot to celebrate an important date or remember someone special by dedicating a bench in one of our conservation areas, a waterfall location or along an HCA trail. With a gift of $3,000, individuals, families or groups can donate a bench and provide a rest area where visitors can enjoy the beauty of nature. A recognition plaque with a personalized inscription will be mounted on the bench. View our program fact sheet here.
